Mocksville - In 2006, the Cary High Wrestling team, going in with an undefeated record, traveled west to Mocksville, North Carolina on a cold cloudy day to face the War Eagles from Davie County. They ended up walking out with a 41-23 defeat to the hands of Davie County.
The 2008 dual championships matched up the same two teams two years later, but with different results as Cary walked out of the War Eagle gym with a 40-27 victory claiming back to back Dual Championships.
